Pend Oreille County ARES

 When communication systems fail, communities still need to talk to each other.

Pend Oreille County ARES is a team of licensed amateur radio operators
who volunteer their time, training, and equipment to help provide
reliable emergency communications for our region.
ARES volunteers train regularly through radio nets, exercises, and
emergency communication practice so they are prepared to assist when
communication support is needed.

Pend Oreille County ARES works in cooperation with Pend Oreille County
Emergency Management and the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to help
strengthen the county’s communication readiness.
